Cambridge Veterinary Services will continue to be an independent, locally-owned clinic as husband-and-wife team take the reins.
We’re excited to announce that Cambridge Veterinary Services (CVS) has a new team at the helm: Drs Luke and Britt VanRooy. Some of our clients may have already met this husband-and-wife duo in the clinic over the last couple of years, and now they’re thrilled to be taking the torch from Dr. Draper. We’re proud that CVS will continue to be a locally owned, independent practice. We hope it, like Cambridge itself, will continue to grow, while remaining your trusted, neighbourhood source for your pets’ medical care. All of the staff at CVS look forward to seeing our current patients, as well as new clients in the future.
As a young family–and pet owners themselves–Drs Luke and Britt are committed to building trust by working with pet parents to ensure that every dog and cat receives personalized care. “We believe in treating every pet as if they were our own,” says Dr. Britt, a 2017 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC). Dr Luke (OVC 2014), adds, “We want pets to feel safe, and owners to feel heard.”
For 52 years, Cambridge Veterinary Services has been a village fixture, providing compassionate and comprehensive veterinary services. Our goal is to keep the neighbourly, country clinic feel that our clients have come to know and love, while updating our practice into the future. Our amazing staff will continue to be here: with Paige and Meghan at the front desk, and Emily [Staebler], Jody and Emily [Soares] continuing as our Registered Veterinary Technicians. Drs Lindsay Forsyth, Whitney Moore and Amanda Borecki will be continuing to provide care. We’re also proud to welcome Dr. Andria Joy, who joined us this summer.
Expect increased activity on our website and social media platforms going forward – from animal health news to funny stories to educational content. Dr. Britt and Dr. Luke are eager to connect with you and hear your thoughts on how to make CVS even better.
