Dr. Laura grew up in the country near Fenelon Falls, Ontario, alongside a variety of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses and chickens. She has always felt the importance of animal companionship and the strength of the human-animal bond. Dr. Laura attended the University of Guelph for undergraduate studies in Animal Biology and then achieved her DVM at the Ontario Veterinary College, graduating in 2013. She worked in a busy 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic in London for one year before joining the team at Cambridge Veterinary Services the summer of 2014. Dr. Laura has greatly enjoyed being part of the team and strives to continue to maintain excellency in veterinary medicine and has a strong dedication to continued learning. She lives in Kitchener with her husband, springer spaniel and two cats.
